- groSolar acquires Chesapeake Solar, a leading installer of solar energy systems in the Mid-Atlantic region.
- groSolar installs a 1.1 MW solar tracking photovoltaic system at Mariani Packing Company in Vacaville, CA.
- groSolar signs exclusive distribution agreement with Motech Inverters and PanelClaw flat roof mounting.
- groSolar completes the commercial solar hot water (SHW) installation at Fenway Park, home of the Boston Red Sox. 28 Heliodyne solar hot water collectors and four 400-gallon storage tanks are tied into Fenway's existing water system. The SHW supplies the park and restaurants on the lower levels of Fenway and is expected to reduce the park's annual carbon dioxide emissions by roughly 18 tons.
